アメリカ人ホームステイゲストMartinから、作り手さんたちへ、写真とメッセージが届きました。
「被災地のみなさま、そしてご家族のみなさま、世界中の人たちが今もなお、忘れずに心のなかでご無事を祈っていますよ！！
僕にとって日本は第二の故郷。だから壊れてしまった日本をみると心が張り裂けそう。でも立ち直ったらどんなに強くなるだろうと考えると嬉しいです。」
“You and your families are still very much in the hearts and prayers of people all around the world! Japan is like a second home to me, and although it breaks my heart to see it broken, it brings me joy thinking of how much stronger it will now be!”
彼は震災後すぐに、励ましと祈りのメールを送ってくれた心優しい青年。
Layout artistとして活躍しながら、いま自主制作の映画starを作っています。
忙しいかたわらにも「日本の復興は進んでる？」といつも気にかけてくれます。

I have received the message & the picture to the affected people from Martin who stayed with us as our home-stay guest!
“You and your families are still very much in the hearts and prayers of people all around the world!
Japan is like a second home to me, and although it breaks my heart to see it broken, it brings me joy thinking of how much stronger it will now be!”

He is such a warm-hearted person who has sent us the e-mail of the encouragement & prayers right after 3.11 Earthquake occurred last year.
He has been doing great as a Layout artist, and has been trying to make his own movie called “Star”.
Eventhough he’s so busy with his work, he always cares about us Japanese people and often asks me,
“ How has the recovery progress of Japan been going?”
