【鳥取のまけないぞうサポーター、日本画家の綾木いづみさんからのお便りです 】

古くからの友人まみちゃんが“まけないぞう”さんをお土産に我が家に遊びに来てくれました！
それはそれは可愛らしいピンクのぞうさん。袋から出してみた ら なんと寅年のお年賀用のタオルで作られていて、黄色い寅の刺繍が付いている可愛いぞうさんでした！
名前は早速テレジアちゃんと命名。テレジアちゃんとの出会いを記念して、アトリエに飾っている私の作品『まなざし』の前で記念撮影！

黄色いお着物姿の舞妓さんに黄色い寅の刺繍付きのテレジアちゃんがとっても良くマッチしているでしょ！
テレジアちゃんと一緒にやってきた白いまけないぞうさんは東京 在住の母に今度会いに行く際にプレゼントする予定です。きっと喜んでくれることと思います！

これをご縁に被災地支援のまけないぞうプロジェクト”の応援を 末永く続けて行きたいと思っています。

【Makenaizo Report from Ms. Izumi Ayaki, the Japanese Painting Artist in Tottori】Mami-chan, a friend of mine came to visit my atelier with Makenaizo as a souvenir for me the other day!
The cute pink elephant is made of the special towel for the new year of Tiger, with the embroidery of the little yellow tiger on, and I have named this Makenaizo Telegia chan.
I am so much thankful that this elephant has become a new member of my family, and this is the shot of Pink Makenaizo in front of my painting of the young lady with yellow Kimono (Japanese traditional costume).

I’m planning to take the white Makenaizo that came with Telegia chan to my mother’s place in Tokyo in the future, since I’m really sure that she will love Makenaizo, too!

Thanks to Mami-chan for introducing Makenaizo to me.
I’ll continue supporting this wonderful project going forward!

那覇市は、晴れ。今週は勤続25年の休暇。台風を２つも発生させて沖縄に上陸しました。さすが激雨男♪

８月２１日
座間味は晴れです。沖縄リゾートのオーナーに、石巻の墨野江と、まけないぞうを渡しました。今から、無人島にシュノーケリングです。

８月２２日
こんにちは。座間味→泊海上は、高波ざぶんざぶん♪台風のため予定変更して那覇に移動ちう。
昨日、一緒にマンタと戯れたフランスからきたマリオンさんに も、まけないぞうをプレゼント♪
子供は、台風を呼ぶ人が、父であることの、現実大肯定の修行ちう。でも、もっと座間味で遊びたかったよぉ～

ロンドンから一時帰国した友だちに「まけないぞう」を渡したら、とても喜んでいます ☆　これがそのまけないぞうさんたち。
ロンドンオリンピックのマスコット「ウェンロック」、パラリンピックのマスコット「マンデヴィル」とクマちゃんと一 緒です！

・・・世界に広がる「まけないぞう」元気でお引っ越しして、イギリスから作り手さんたちを応援してね☆

“I have introduced Makenaizo to my friend who is now back in Japan from London for summer. She is so much pleased & happy to meet these cute elephants, and this is the picture she posted on her Facebook. 2 Makenaizos look so happy to be with my friend’s Kuma-chan and Wenlock & Mandeville, the official mascots for the 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics being held in London, United Kingdom!” ・・・Have a safe trip to London, Makenaizo! We hope you will always remember & root for the people who have made the elephants in tsunami & quake-hit areas in Japan☆

【まけないぞう応援団のタオル集め隊＠水戸　柳田恵美子さんから　すてきなイベントの報告です】
常磐大学被害者学研究所で7月３０日から８月１０日まで第12回アジア地域大学院コースが開催されました。
左側はインドからの参加者。右側が英語落語の得意な卒業生の川又友美さん。
フェアウェルパーティで英語落語のあと、まけないぞうを紹介してくれました。
【Report from Emiko Yanagida-san in Mito City, the member of Towel Collecting Team for Makenaizo Making】
This is the very nice report on the special event in Mito City from Emiko Yanagida-san. The Postgraduate Course was held at Tokiwa International Victimology Institute, Tokiwa University from Jul. 20 – Aug. 10, and this is the picture of and the participant from India & Ms. Kawamata who is the guraduate of this university. Ms. Kawamata has kindly introduced Makenaizo after English Rakugo at the farewell party of the course, and 15 elephants were all sold out at the party!

アジア各地に散らばって、まけないぞうを知ってもらうことに貢献してくれるはず。
Emiko-san is so much sure that these elephants will be all over Asia with the participants from Asia who have bought the elephant at this opportunity.
